LPI Offers Free Linux Essentials Pilot Exams at Zarafa SummerCamp 2012

The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) offers free Linux Essentials Pilot exams at Zarafa SummerCamp 2012 in Kerkrade / the Netherlands on June 21 and 22, 2012. The number of 'Pilot' exams is restricted to 30. Besides these new exams, every other LPI exam is offered at a promotional price. LPI is 'Educational Sponsor' at Zarafa SummerCamp 2012. Since January 1, 2012 LPIC-1 certification or alternatively RHCSA certification is a prerequisite to become a 'Zarafa Certified Engineer'.

The exam lab starts on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 16:15 and on Friday June 22, 2012 at 14:30. Meeting point for all participants is 15 minutes before the start. All candidates must register at: http://www.zarafa.com/summercamp2012/registration

As the number of seats is restricted, candidates must register in advance at http://lpievent.lpice.eu . All participants need to show a valid photo ID and a valid LPI identification number. The LPI ID can be requested at https://cs.lpi.org/caf/Xamman/register .

The free Linux Essentials "Pilot" exams contain 60 items, time is 90 minutes. Targeted at new technology users, the "Linux Essentials" program is set to be adopted by schools, educational authorities, training centers and others commencing June 2012.
