LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning Undergoes Rigorous Software Security and Intel Hardware Compatibility Testing to Become Part of the Intel® Certified Solutions Program

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – August 21, 2008 – LinMin, provider of award-winning LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning™, today announced that it has joined the Intel® Certified Solutions Program where it is being validated for software security, interoperability, and Intel® multi-core processor compatibility. Certification will mean that LinMin customers who deploy, host or repurpose systems running Microsoft Windows® or open source operating systems such as Red Hat®, Novell®, Ubuntu®, CentOS, Fedora or Asianux are buying and using a solution they can be more confident in.

“Being awarded the ‘Intel Certified Powered by SpikeSource’ logo will mean a major achievement for LinMin, as it provides increased confidence and trust for our end users and channel partners that LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning is secure, interoperable and enabled on Intel platforms,” said Laurent Gharda, CEO and founder of LinMin Corp. “We also look forward to increased product demand now that we are part of the Intel Business Exchange, the online technology marketplace with global reach.”

“The Intel® Certified Solutions Program delivers immediate business value,” says J. Scott Harrison, director Partner Programs Organization for Intel. “Program members can quickly take advantage of advanced Intel technologies and create more secure solutions without committing additional development resources, helping them to improve competitive advantage in the marketplace.”

LinMin began shipping last week the new release of LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning and introduced an application programming interface (API) that enables any open source or proprietary application to trigger bare metal provisioning events as well as support for additional platforms, including 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2, Novell SLES10 SP2, CentOS 5.2, Fedora 9 and Ubuntu 8.04.1. LinMin provisions over 50 different versions and architectures of Linux and Windows, and using a different technology, can also perform disk imaging for disaster recovery and system cloning.

LBMP is available for purchase and download at www.linmin.com. LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning is priced at $250 for up to 10 client systems, $1,000 for up to 100 client systems and $1,875 for up to 250 clients systems. Annual subscriptions are also available for $100, $400 and $750 respectively.
