Firefox is the new name of the browser developed by The Mozilla Foundation. It was previously known as Mozilla Firebird. Firefox is built on Mozilla's Gecko technology - giving users speedy page display and web developers the ability to create compelling content with industry leading standards support.
The new release includes a Windows installer, a improved download manager, bookmark tweaks to improve usability, the possibility to work offline, better handling of file types and, of course, lots of bug fixes and improvements.
Firefox 0.8 is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS X.
